This website, IntuitiveUnderground.com (the “Website”), is owned and operated by UNIVERSAL INTELLIGENCE LLC (the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Colorado limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have.
By using this Website, you agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy, our Terms of Service, and our Disclaimer.
IN SHORT: THIS IS A STATIC WEBSITE. WE SET NO COOKIES, RUN NO ANALYTICS, USE NO TRACKING PIXELS, AND SELL NO PERSONAL INFORMATION. THE ONLY PERSONAL INFORMATION WE HOLD IS WHAT YOU CHOOSE TO SEND US.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide Voluntarily
Contact Information. We may ask for your name and email address when you sign up for our newsletter or email list, contact us with a question, or make a donation. We only ask for the information necessary to respond to you or fulfill our obligations.
Donation Information. The Website is supported by voluntary donations. When you make a one-time or recurring donation, your payment is processed by third-party payment processors and platforms — currently Stripe, PayPal, Patreon, Ko-fi, and Buy Me a Coffee, and potentially others in the future, including live-stream “superchat” or tipping features. These processors collect your payment details directly. We never receive, capture, or store your full payment card information. Each platform handles your data under its own terms and privacy policy, which we encourage you to review.
Hosting and Server Logs
The Website is a static site hosted by Netlify, Inc. Like any web host, Netlify’s servers automatically record technical information about incoming requests — including IP address, browser type, operating system, the pages requested, and the date and time — for the purposes of delivering the site, maintaining its security, and diagnosing faults.
This processing is necessary to operate the Website and is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a functioning, secure service. Netlify acts as our service provider and processes this information under its own terms.
Cookies and Tracking
WE DO NOT SET COOKIES ON THIS WEBSITE. WE DO NOT USE TRACKING PIXELS, WEB BEACONS, DEVICE FINGERPRINTING, OR ANY SIMILAR TECHNOLOGY.
Because we set no cookies and run no tracking, there is nothing for you to consent to and no cookie preferences for you to manage. This is a deliberate choice.
Third-party analytics. We do not currently use Google Analytics, Clicky, or any other third-party analytics service. If we adopt analytics in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy before doing so, and will use a privacy-respecting, cookieless service wherever one is available.
Advertising. We do not run advertisements, retargeting campaigns, custom advertising audiences, or behavioral ad networks, and we do not host third-party advertising on the Website. If we adopt any of these practices in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy first, provide any legally required opt-out mechanisms, and obtain your consent where consent is required.
Embedded Video and External Links
Video. Where we publish video, we use a click-to-load embed. A still image is displayed on the page, and nothing is requested from the video provider until you click to play. If you choose to play the video, it loads from the provider — normally YouTube — which may then set cookies and receive your IP address under its own privacy policy. If you do not click, no connection to the video provider is made.
Donation and signup links. Our donation buttons and any newsletter signup link take you to the relevant third-party platform. Once you are on that platform, its own privacy policy and cookie practices apply.
Other links. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party website we link to. Please review their policies.
How We Use Your Information
We only collect and process personal data when we have a lawful basis for doing so: your consent, the performance of an agreement with you, or our legitimate interests in operating the Website. We use your information to:
- Send you our newsletter and updates about our remote viewing projects and related work;
- Process and acknowledge your donations;
- Respond to your emails, questions, and requests;
- Improve the quality and content of the Website; and
- Fulfill our legal obligations.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We may share your information in these limited circumstances:
- With service providers who help us operate the Website, deliver emails, or process donations — limited to what they need to perform those functions;
- With a buyer or transferee if the Company is ever sold, merged, or liquidated;
- With our attorneys or a court of law where necessary to enforce our legal rights; and
- When required by legal process, investigation, court order, or subpoena, or to protect the safety of visitors, the Company, or the public.
Data Retention
We keep your data only as long as reasonably required for the purposes for which it was collected. Email subscribers who have been on our list for at least 30 days but have not opened or clicked an email in the last 90 days (“cold subscribers”) are purged from our system on a regular basis, no less than once every six (6) months.
Protecting and Keeping Your Information Secure
We use reputable service providers to store and transmit data, and those providers maintain technological and organizational measures designed to protect your personal information from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
A Note About Email. Email is not secure. We will never ask you to send sensitive data such as full credit card numbers or government identification numbers over email, and you should not do so. We cannot guarantee the safety of personal information you choose to send us by email.
Our Policy Toward Children
The Website is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at intuitiveunderground@gmail.com and we will take all reasonable steps to delete it from our systems promptly.
Your U.S. State Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, state privacy laws — including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, the Colorado Privacy Act, and similar laws in states such as Virginia, Connecticut, Texas, and Oregon — may give you the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it;
- Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Delete your personal information; and
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under these laws).
To exercise any of these rights, email us at intuitiveunderground@gmail.com with your name and your request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. You may also unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any email we send.
Right to Appeal. If we decline to act on your request, we will tell you why. You may appeal that decision by replying to our response or emailing us at intuitiveunderground@gmail.com with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line. We will respond to your appeal in writing. If your appeal is denied, you may contact the Colorado Attorney General or the attorney general of your own state to raise a concern.
Do Not Track and Opt-Out Preference Signals. Because we set no cookies, run no tracking, and do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, browser signals such as Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control have nothing to act upon on this Website. If that ever changes, we will honor those signals and will say so here.
Minors in California. If you are under 18 and have provided personal information or content to us, you may request its deletion under the “California Eraser Law” by contacting us at intuitiveunderground@gmail.com.
International Visitors, the GDPR, and UK GDPR
The Company, the Website, and the servers we and our service providers use are located in the United States. This Website and the material it provides are directed to residents of the United States. Even so, the information we publish is available worldwide, and visitors from anywhere are welcome.
By using the Website and providing personal information, you understand and expressly authorize the transfer of your personal data to the United States.
If you are located in the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and UK GDPR give you the right to:
- Transparent information about what we collect from you;
- Access your data and receive a copy of it;
- Rectification — to correct or update your information;
- Erasure (the “right to be forgotten”);
- Restrict or object to the processing of your data;
- Data portability; and
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal.
We extend these rights to all of our visitors regardless of where they are located. Our lawful bases for processing are described above. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” in any email or contacting us at intuitiveunderground@gmail.com.
If you believe we are not complying with applicable data protection law, please contact us at intuitiveunderground@gmail.com with your name, country, and a brief summary of your concern. We will respond as quickly as we can. If your issue is not resolved, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local Supervisory Authority or, in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to protect our visitors and comply with changing regulations. We will never change our policies to make the safeguarding of your personal information less protective than it has been in the past. Continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We will update the date at the top of this page whenever changes are made.
